Hispanic Life in London

Whilst a move to the UK is always extremely exciting and being immersed in a new culture is one of the main highlights, we also understand that there are days when you just miss home and need that little pick me up and sense of familiarity. For some things it is just useful to know where you can go to find a Spanish speaker or get hold of that item you need.

When it comes to medical and technical issues, making sure you are understood is very important. Sometimes you don’t always have the necessary vocabulary and so having a Spanish speaker available is reassuring and ensures effective communication and understanding.

We have therefore put together a list of all things Hispanic in London to help make the transition a little easier.

If you have any recommendations we would love to hear from you!

Inevitably it does take time to settle in to a new culture and way of life, especially if you do not speak the language. If you feel like you or your family could use a little extra help in making this transition run smoother, please do not hesitate to contact us.

TTA Relocation has connections with a number of providers that offer language and cross cultural training. The various suppliers offer professional, flexible and friendly services either on a one to one basis or group/ family training. Courses can vary from one week of intensive coaching to regular sessions taken over several months. Training is normally delivered in-company but may also take place at your home.

For assignees arriving in the UK, English language courses can be offered to partners and children. Courses cover the need for practical language such as that for banking, shopping and socialising, as well as vocabulary for homework, popular culture, fashion and sport.
